Club Night:
These are held every two to three months. They are free, except for pool entry. Members may bring friends/siblings. If you are not a member but would like to see what Swim Rotorua is all about let us know that you would like to come along.
Usually held in 25m inside pool, Intermediate, Metro and Junior Academy athletes are able to test their skills and times for 50m and 100m events (25m event for visitors/siblings and Junior Academy). Our older athletes often help you too. We use an underwater GoPro and give instant playback feedback to you. Gain your times and confidence too. A fun way to spend an afternoon or occasionally an early evening.
At Club Nights you can enter as many or as few of the races as you want. If you can’t dive yet that is no problem. It is all about having fun and getting a time for you to try to beat next time that way you know you are improving and so do we!
We encourage our parents to join in too by learning timekeeping and then moving on up to Officals training. A great opportunity to help your school swimming sports and at our meets. Practice makes perfect and Club Night is a great time to learn!
Check out our facebook page for flyers for these events too and if in the swim club, download the club APP.
Skills Clinics
These are held with the older athletes assisting our coaches around four times a year. Improve your diving, turns and general racing skills so you are ready for competitions, school swimming sports, Central Bay of Plenty or Weetabix Tryathlon.
Flyers are also posted on our Facebook Page and the club APP.
Past club night information can be found in the Archive, so check it out under the "News" tab!
