Open Water - We have many athletes taking on the Open Water from NZ Championships in Taupo to Ocean Swim Series around the locality, country and even abroad in Fiji! We have been involved in the Swim the Lakes Series from 2015 in and around Rotorua (Blue Lake; Waitangi Day at Lake Rotoma and have been the main host for the third in the series, Lake Okataina) until 2019. We still support Blue Lake and Lake Rotoma swims with a good contingent of our younger swimmers too, but Lake Okataina has now ceased.

Many events are held at the Blue Lake (Two events January and February), Lake Rotoma (Waitangi Day), Taupo "Across the Lake" giving everyone the opportunity to try something new or continue the enjoyment of Open Water swimming.
