Swim Rotorua's Kane Radford chosen as New Zealand Flag Bearer at FINA World Championships

Swim Rotorua Swimmer Kane Radford is the proud flag bearer for New Zealand's aquatic athletes at the FINA World Championships 2015.

 

In another first for our club, Swim Rotorua's Kane Radford proudly acts as the New Zealand Flag Bearer for all New Zealand Aquatic Athletes at the opening ceremony of the FINA World Swimming Championships in Kazan, Russia.


Kane swims in his 10km open water race 03.00 on Tuesday morning (local time NZ). The course, used for the World University Games two years ago, is in the Kazanka River with the city located on the confluence on the Kazanka and Volga rivers.
