National Secondary Schools medals for Swim Rotorua

National New Zealand Secondary Schools Competition gives our swimmers the chance to race for the schools against their team mates.

Representing local schools, our athletes once again raced hard posting excellent time and reaching the podium.

Milla Theobald of John Paul College topped the podium with a superb swim to take the gold medal in the 13u girls 400 free. She won two further bronze medals in the 200free and 200fly.

Paddy Baylis took a silver medal in the mens over 16 400m freestyle.

James Baldwin sprinted onto the podium with a silver medal spot in the boys 14u 50 freestyle

Kairangi Cox and Skye Cox both excelled posting PB's - Skye had a 6th National ranking in the girls 14u 200 back, whilst Kairangi acheived top 16 places in the 100 and 200 girls 15u free

David Boles raced to a PB in the mens 16 over 200 back making the Aquaknights standard for Victorian Age Groups.
